Building #InclusiveCourts starts with strengthening the capacity of #WomenJudges!
During the Basic Mentoring Skills Training, held in collaboration with @bphpimari and women judges from across Indonesia’s court system, participants engaged in discussions on leadership, integrity, mentoring principles, and the application of the #GEDSI (Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion) perspective in adjudicating cases involving vulnerable groups, including women, children, and #PersonsWithDisabilities.
Integrating a GEDSI perspective is essential to ensuring that judicial processes are not only procedurally fair but also deliver substantive justice—justice that recognizes the realities of trauma, power imbalances, and the vulnerabilities experienced by survivors and other affected individuals.
